The Ohio City Gardeners will have our next meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 PM This will be a "working " meeting at the West Side Market parking lot off of Lorain Ave. We are now maintaining the garden plot at the entry to the parking lot there. We'll be weeding, mulching and planting, so bring your gardening gloves and a trowel and plan to do a little work. The club did the major work last year, so this year will just be some relatively easy maintenance. After the work session at approximately 8 PM we will adjourn for a meeting and refreshments at Stone Gables. If you're inclined, bring a lawn chair and help by "supervising", or just join us at 8 PM for refreshments and lively discussion of upcoming events.
guests are welcome!

The Ohio City Gardeners working in conjunction with the West Side Market Association have created a garden at the Lorain Avenue entrance to the West Side Market. This consisted of removal of all existing vegetation, soil amending and planting perennials. Many of the plants were donated by Ohio City Gardeners members and other residents of Ohio City.

The ongoing maintenance of the West Side Market garden is a constant battle. Members stop by to pick up trash, dead head plants and even trim the hedges. PLEASE feel free to stop by at any time. You do not need to set up an appointment.
It is recommended that you bring a bag to place garbage or plant materials into. These can then be placed in the WSM dumpster.
